Algaeomancy
Red algae, rainwater, cement, beeswax, graphite, glass

An experimentation with rain, algal blooms, and trapped mist.
These forms of water-dense phenomena and their tendency to appear in manifestations of natural disaster were laid out across trays of dry cement, then sealed in cases of beeswax, graphite and glass. The shapes, forms and symbols which resulted from this process were studied by the sentinel figure as a process of cryptozoological divination.
